I recently returned from a wonderful trip to the Caribbean and I bought a few things while on this trip to use in my journals. One of those was a pack or 100 brown paper lunch bags. These bags are very different to the ones we can buy in the UK so I was very excited to find them locally to where I was staying and at a very reasonable price. SO this is the first project using these bags. I decided to make a journal cover with them. It is a square journal with a 1 1/2" spine. If you follow along you can also make one but the measurements will depend on the bag you start off with. I really like how the gusset of the bag forms shallow pockets on the inside covers. I will soon bring you the second episode in the lunch bag journal where I decorate the cover. I will be make one with scrapbook paper - Stampin' Up! DSP I have been hoarding! The other one is going to be using some digitals I have printed.
I have stitched one of the covers but in the video I decided not to stitch as not everyone has a sewing machine.
