Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator
Welcome to my blog, thank you for joining me today 😀
I am bringing you the tutorial for the project I made for the Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop. The theme was Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. I love to upcycle and reuse rather than throw away, this is why I love junk journals so much. I have a row of large bags as you enter my craft room and they are all labelled so organising my 'junk' is easy and they are handy for when I want to craft with them. One such bag is cardboard. I save lots of packaging, one such thing is the card from Stampin' Dimensionals. I have been wanting to do something with these for ages. I am so glad this theme came up as it prompted me to do it. I made a scrappy note pad with lots of my scraps of vintage book pages, this will be very handy when I am making clusters or collaging and it looks nice as well. I also made a notebook as I am always needing small scraps of paper to make to do lists. I made the pages of the notepad out of junk mail so it is a proper reduce, reuse and recycle project.
Measurements and Materials
- Notebook base made from Stampin' Dimensional packaging
- Score 1/4 from the crease to make a gusset
- I covered the outside with Dandy Designs DSP
- I used Alphabet A La Mode to add the 'NOTES' & "SCRAPS"
- I framed the word with the border die from Blossoming Happiness
- The Scraps book is vintage scraps for making cluster and collage when I am making my junk journals
- The notebook is made from junk mail and envelopes
- I just ruler ripped the right size and glue them in place
Now watch the video tutorial to see how this was made :-)
