I am bringing you another project using junk to create something useful. I do love to recycle and upcycle, plus I like free crafting materials. This project is the challenge I am setting in the Facebook group Junk Journalling For Everyone. #jj4eweeklychallenge I like to put the junk back into junk journaling! I stripped the layers of paper from some corrugated cardboard. I soaked the cardboard in water for a few minutes and the layers just peeled away. I left them to dry and once dry the paper layers were weighted under a pile of books over night to flatten them. The corrugated layers I left to use as is. The paper has a lovely crinkle feel about them which also gives them an old feel. I then got lots of stamps sets out and started stamping all over the paper. I used some post it notes to mask off areas. This created spaced to add images to form focal points. I remembered watching Ceri The Crafter do something similar to this. I will be back tomorrow with some projects I made with this paper so do join me then.
