Stamping With Friends Blog Hop - Favourite Sale-A-Bration Item

I am hopping with the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop and our theme is Favourite Sale-A-Bration item. Well my actual favourite is the Dainty Flowers DSP but I am waiting for my second pack to arrive to I had to use my second favourite item instead for this hop. Another beautiful pack of DSP Favoured Flowers. For this project I have made a notebook. 

Measurements and Materials

• I used 2 6"x6" squares of DSP
• Each sheet was scored @ 2"
• One sheet had the florals on the outside and the other had it on the inside
• The Floral sheet was used as the front cover and the 2" fold formed a pocket on the inside cover
• The other sheet formed the black cover and the 2" strip was die cut with the stitched scallop edge die
• The was folded over the front cover to form a decorative edge
• I cut some lined file paper down to fit my notebook
• I cut the A4 sheet in half and trimmed the edge down to just under 8" wide
• The sheets were folded in half to form the booklet
• The booklet was then sewn int the cover using the 3 hole pamphlet stitch
• To decorate I stamped 'Just a Note' on black card and heat embossed in white
• This was then fussy cut and stuck t the front of the notebook
