Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator

Yesterday on our Facebook group Come Crafting With Jill & Gez, Jill & I we did our monthly live crafting session. We do this on the first Saturday of the month. We set a monthly challenge and this is drawn in the live and we send a small prize to the winner. We didn't manage to do a live in June so it was so lovely to craft together after 2 month. Why not join us next time.
This week we were both using the Hues Of Happiness DSP. I have used my Scan N Cut to cut out the flowers from 2 of the sheets. There are dies to cut out many of the flowers but it was quicker with my machine and also I could cut them without a border, which was the look I wanted for this project.
Measurements and Materials
- Card size when collapsed 7" x 5"
- Although I did place my flowers outside this parameter!
- One sheet of Highland Heather card stock
- Score on the long side @ 2 1/2" - 5" - 7 1/2" - 10"
- Score on the short side @ 4"
- Trim the card stock down to 7" x 10 1/2"
- The long strip will be cut in half and then 4 strips will be made
- The strip will be trimmed to 1/2" either side of the score lines
- This will make 4 supports that will be stuck across the box which is what the decorations will be attached to.
- 1/4" strips of window Sheets were cut to stick the flowers to
- I used the Silver & Gold DSP that is FREE in Sale-A-Bration for the mats to decorate the box
- I used both Highland Heather & Gorgeous Grape to create an Ombre affect on the mats
- 3 for the bottom of the box - 3 3/4" x 2 1/4"
- 6 for the top flaps - 2 3/4" x 2 1/4"
- 1 for the back section - 6" x 2 1/4"
- For the back of the box I used Basic White Cardstock, one on the back to write your message
- 6 3/4" x 2 1/4"
