Nigezza Creates Project Share Stampin Up!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today, it's Thursday so it's time for another Project Share.  Every Thursday I chose a project from 3 of my crafty friends. From the left we have Jill aka Paper Daisy Crafting, Verity aka Inkybutterfly, me and Heather aka Stamp with Nellie.

Heather from Stamp With Nellie

The Project Share 30th June 2022

Heather has been scrap busting! I love how she has used the lovely Hues Of Happiness scraps on this card. Because the paper is from the same pack they all go well together. This paper is so beautiful you really do not want to waste a single bit of it.

Verity from Inkybutterfly

The Project Share 30th June 2022

Verity has created this stunning background with the new Artistic Mix Decorative Masks. 2 different masks with 2 different inks were used. You really need to check out her video to see how she made this as it is so clever.

Finally I have picked a Christmas card Jill made last year using the Merriest Moments stamp set and the Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder.  These products will once again be available in the new July to December Mini which is going live tomorrow! This card shows off the wonderful hybrid embossing folder really well.

Let's Make A Journal From A Packet Of 12"x12" Paper

Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator

Welcome to my blog, thank you for joining me today 😀

Last week I shared a project using the lovely blue & white flippy page pocket and I said I wanted to make a journal with the rest of the paper, doilies, ribbon and memories and more cards.  Well here it is! I still have some more decorating to do and some more tags and journalling cards to make but the journal is made and the cover is on.

I bought the Designer Series Paper, matching Memories & More Cards, ribbon and doilies, all from the Last Chance Products in my shop now. These are only available until the end of June 2022.  All these products are £20.01! What a bargain. I have worked hard at getting this ready for todays Junk Journal video so that you can see how it turned out and if you want to make one similar there is still chance to buy the products.

Let's Make A Journal From A Packet Of 12"x12" Paper

Measurements and Materials

  • Each page is 5 1/2" x 8"
  • SO each 12"x12" sheet was cut down to 11" and score @ 5 1/2"
  • Each sheet was then turned and scored @ 8"
  • This formed each page but I didn't want a 4" pocket so I trimmed each down
  • I took 1", 1 1/2" & 2" off different sheets so I had different sized pockets
  • The white paper I used was 120gsm
  • I cut the sheets to 8" x 11"
  • I scored @ 5 1/2" on the long side
  • I then put the pages together and alternated between the white paper and the Designer Series Paper
  • Vellum insert 6" x 8 " score @ 4" on the long side
  • DSP was attached to form pockets on the vellum insert
  • The cover was made from the white card that comes with the paper pack
  • I cut 3 sections, the spine, front and back
  • The spine was 3/4" x 8 1/4"
  • Front and back 5 3/8" x 8 1/4"
  • I used construction tape to join the sections together
  • I covered the cover with the DSP
  • The spine section was 5/8" x 8"
  • The 4 sections for the outside and inside front and back covers 5 1/2" x 8"

Now watch the video tutorial to see how this was made :-)

Let's Make A Mini Album

Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator

Welcome to my blog, thank you for joining me today 😀

I bringing you the tutorial for the mini album I made for the Ink & Share Scrapbook blog hop. The theme was Birthday. I could have done a layout for my scrapbook but as it was my sister's 60th birthday this month and I was making her a mini album I thought this would be good for this hop.  I am filling it with pictures of my sister spanning the 60 years plus photos from her Birthday weekend.

I have used the lovely New Horizon's paper for this album. I just think it is beautiful. This paper retires at the end of the month so you only have a few more days left to buy it. It is also reduced in my shop so do check it out and the other Last Chance Products that will all retire on Thursday 30th June.

Let's Make A Mini Album

Measurements and Materials

  • The mini Album. is made fro 4 sheets of 6" x 6" designer series paper
  • Score each @ 3"
  • Turn & score @ 1 1/2"

Now watch the video tutorial to see how this was made :-)
