Stamp 'N Hop April Blog Hop - Masking Technique

Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator

Welcome to my blog, thank you for joining me today 😀

I am bringing the first of 3 blog hops today. This one is the Stamp 'N Hop blog hop. Our theme this month is masking technique.  I love using masks and use them in different ways. Today I am using it with my new gelli plate. I received a small 6" x 6" one a few years ago from my eldest for Christmas and I have loved using it. This Christmas past I received a 10" x 8" from my other son. Last weekend I used it for the first time! I cannot believe it has taken me that long to use it. I mixed ink refills with an acrylic matt medium so that I could retain the bright vivid colours of the ink and they could be used on the plate and spread well. I had no idea if this would work when I started but I was absolutely delighted with the results. I did some practice sheets with heavy paper before using some Basic white card stock. I have made 2 cards so far with what I created.
