I am bringing you another instalment of my new series over on my YouTube channel. It is junk journal series for beginners. I decided to start with an altered book. I thought that people may find this a little easier to start with than making a journal from scratch. So join me as I take you through getting the right book, preparing the book and creating your pages and pockets to embellishing it. There will be several parts in this section of the beginners series.

It is important to pick the correct book. I used a Readers Digest book that had a cover I liked. Pages are removed and new pages and pocket pages are created. You can see me doing this in the video below.
