Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator
Welcome to my blog, thank you for joining me today on Junk Journal with Stampin' Up! 😀
I am so excited today because I am using some new products that launched yesterday in the new Jan - June Stampin; Up! mini catalogue. So many great sets that are perfect for vintage journals. Today I am using a bundle 'Sports Fans' this is a stamp set with coordinating dies. At first sight this may not make yu think of junk journals but looking closely at the die set I think you will realise why I just had to have this set. There are tickets! Whoohoo! I love tickets and this set has 4 styles of tickets, yes 4!!!
There is a mini row of tickets which is perfect for borders or for little clusters and layering. You can have so much fun making them grungy and customising them to fit with what ever project you are making.
There is a ticket sized ticket, very useful and you will see me using it to die cut a digital ticket as well as the printed ticket on one of the patterned paper in this suite. I felt it was worth buying the paper pack just for the 2 sheets that you can die cut from!
There is a large oversized ticket which is perfect as a journalling card. I have die cut from tea stained card stock and decorated ready for a journal.
Finally there is a 2 part ticket that even has the perforations to rip off. There is a matching stamp for this so you can stamp on images and die cut out to make your own tickets. It also matches the same sheet of paper as the small ticket, so many useful die cut ephemera from the 2 12x12 sheets to be gained.
Today I am using these dies and stamps and creating from junk ... brown paper packaging ... we love it and here is an idea for using it. Love free craft supplies!
Measurements and Materials
- I have used brown paper packaging for the base of the ephemera I have made
- I love using free stuff to make things and love upcycling
- These ticket dies are amazing and adding stamping really does make them look old and vintage
- I have shown how they can be used with book pages, collages, digital images and stamping
- So many great ways to use these and the matching paper with the images ready to die cut is a real bonus
- Once backed onto the double thick brown paper they are really robust and make great journalling spots
Now watch the video tutorial to see how this was made :-)
