Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator
Welcome to my blog, thank you for joining me today 😀
It is Wednesday so it is another in my series of Junk Journal with Stampin' Up! This week I am showing how to create a quick and easy collage back ground and then using brown paper packaging and a used Stampin' Up! grid mat creating tags and journalling cards. The whole process took about 2 hours from start to finish so I have split the process up into 2 videos
Measurements and Materials
- I used a vintage magazine to create the collage
- I tore 2 pages into large strips and stuck them together in different orientations along the edges
- I then tore them again in strips and repeated this until the collage had small sections
- This was a very quick and easy process
- I found it relaxing because it didn't need much thought
- as the magazine paper is very thin I adhered it to an old sheet of Stampin' Up! grid paper that was destined for the bin
- This gave it strength
- I then adhered this to some brown paper packaging
- This gave a nice firm base to make tags and journalling cards from
- I used ink blending brushed over the collage so the edges of the paper were inked
- I then cut up into tags and journalling cards
- I then inked around the edges
- Added stamps and more ink blending
- Finally I decorated them
- I love how they have turned out
Now watch the video tutorial to see how this was made :-)
