Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator 

Welcome to my blog, thank you for joining me today 😀

I am taking part in the first Ink & Share blog hop of the year. We do not have a theme and are able to do what ever we want. I made this layout at a virtual scrapbook class I attended last week. We were working from a sketch and had been given dimensions and suggested paper and dies to use. I used different paper and dies as I am on a mission to use up as much of my annual catalogue DSP as I can before it all retires.  I made the layout before I chose the photo, once I had made it I looked through some photos I had in my craft room. I then found these 2 that were taken on my last trip aboard which was in March 2020, the UK were not in lockdown at the time and there were no restrictions. We (both my sister's, my niece and friend) arrived in Fuerteventura  on the Friday and all was lovely ...until midnight on the Saturday when the whole island went into lockdown and our airline suspended all their flights! We tried to make the best of the week and not worry about how we were going to get home until the day came. The bar was still all inclusive and the food was amazing, we could not use the pool so we played Uno to entertain ourselves. We manage to have a decent time and we look back and laugh about it now, although we were all a bit worried but no one mentioned this at the time!  So this layout pretty much sums up our time there.
