Technique Tuesday: Masking Techniques Blog Hop

Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it. Today I am hopping with the Technique Tuesday blog hop. This month we are looking at masking techniques. We have lots of masks to chose from in the 2 current catalogues and I have been using them if many different ways recently so I thought I would share some of my projects and techniques. 

I have used them as embossing folders, to ink through to crate subtle background and finally to create beautiful foiled patterns.

I used the masks as embossing folders in these cards

I used the mask to create a snowy background in the card, I applied the ink using a blending brush

I used the mask with versamark ink and then heat embossed with god embossing powder to create this gold stripe for this box lid.
