Stamp Around UK Video Hop: Black & Gold Gift Box

Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it . Today I am taking part in the Stamp Around UK video hop, our theme is black and gold. I have decided to make a black and gold version of a gift box I shared on my blog in October. That box was a colourful version but this one is more classy I think. I originally made the box for the Colour Combo Blog Hop with the colours Coastal Cabana, Real red & Basic Gray.  I use the lovely Adorning Decorative Masks and created a stripy pattern on card stock and used this to make the lid of the gift box.  The original box I sponged on the coloured ink, for this box I used Versamark and then added gold embossing powder to create the god stripes. 

Measurements and Materials

• Box Lid - Basic Black Cardstock 
• 5 1/2" x 5 1/2"
• Stencilled with the mask and Versamark
• Heat emboss with gold embossing powder
• Score on all 4 sides @ 1 1/4"
• Box base - Basic Black Cardstock 
• 7" x 7" (-1/16" )
• Score on all 4 sides @ 2"
