Journal Tags From Clothes Tags

Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator 

Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it. I am sharing an upcycle project with you today. I save all sorts of things that I can use in Junk Journals and I especially like nice clothes tags. I ask my sons and Ed to save their clothes tags especially ones from particular shops as they already have great labels without much needed to be done to them.  

Measurements and Materials

• I have used the Encircled in beauty dies as these make great doilies for junk journals
• There are some very small dies which are perfect for the top of a tag
• For these tags I covered the backs with tea dyed paper & then stamped the backs with my favourite Stampin' Up! stamps
• Very Versailles
• Quiet Meadow
• On the front I used some vintage book page, the die cut doilies which I stamped on and a bird image that was taken from some retired Stampin' Up! DSP 
• The finishing touch was a word that I had typed & covered with dress making patten paper to give them an old vintage look
• Finally I added some lovely crochet trim that is on clearance at the moment, Diamond Weave Ribbon
