Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator
Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it. Today I am hopping with the Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop. Scrapbooking was my first crafting that I did seriously. I love recording events and try to scrapbook all our big holidays. This layout shows some more pictures fro our holiday in the US we did in 2019. We visited a great pizza place on Bleaker St and could not believe the size of the pizza. Thankfully we were sharing and they were able to make half vegetarian and half for Ed! I took photos in the lift of our hotel every night on our way out because it had a huge mirror and was easy and good lighting. The bottom 2 photos are from a lovely lunch we had after visiting the 9/11 memorial. It was lovely and peaceful and had lots of tables with seats. There were loads of people eating their lunch there and so many places to chose from for food. I was also sheltered by lots of trees. SO I took the trees as my inspiration for the DSP I used and die cut some leaves from the Beauty Of The Earth DSP. It was hard to believe we were in a very busy part of the city.
Measurements and Materials
- My photos were slightly smaller than the sketch said as they were already printed
- 3 3/4" x 3 3/4"
- The mat for the 4 photos 8"x8"
- I cut strips of DSP 2", 1 1/2" & 1" wide and flagged the ends to stick out the side
- I did cheat a bit and use a retired punch!
- I cut the title using matching card stock, Mossy Meadow & Old Olive with the Playful Alphabet dies, an absolute must for scrapbooking I think
- I used the Quiet Meadow dies and Intricate Leaves for the decoration and Scallop Contour dies fo the little border
