Edith Holden Altered Playing Cards

Thank you for visiting my blog on Junk Journal day, I really do appreciate it and hope you like the project and will take a look at the video tutorial as well. I am continuing with my Edith Holden journal that is now almost ready for the cover which is the final challenge in the facebook group Junk Journaling For Everyone. Today I am bringing you the second part of the penultimate challenge. We had to make 3 altered playing cards. There were 3 themes and one had to have a hidden message using wither a pocket of open door. 

Measurements and Materials

• I used 3 different cards of different sizes and finishes
• One was not plastic coated to it was easy to just ink it up and stamp on it
• The other 2 were plastic coated to to take the shine away I added a layer of paper napkin
• The large card has a big image page from the Edith Holden book that I cut a door from
• The other card has some collaging on it and a fussy cut image from the Edith Holden book
