Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator
Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it and hope you like the project and will take a look at the video tutorial as well. I am once again bringing you a Junk Journal video and I am using my Stampin' Up! stash for is as well. I made my first ever snippet roll for a challenge in the facebook group Junk Journalling For Everyone and I used my Edith Holden book, someone in the group asked for a tutorial so here it is.
Measurements and Materials
- I used one sheet of A4 copier paper that I had tea dyed.
- I used my ripping ruler to rip it into strips that I then joined together to form the long strip
- I then added a strip of thin fabric that I had stamped on to make it look old
- I added ripped bits of paper doily along the strip
- I used a lovely rectangle stamp I have to make rectangles from old vintage music sheets and book pages
- These were stuck along the strip
- I added an old postage stamp and a die cut to each of these rectangles
- I then stamped along the strip
- Finally I sewed using my sewing machine to finish it off
- The clusters were made from the centre of the paper doily that was cut into 4
- I added some tea stained cheese cloth, doily, rectangle from a vintage book or music, stamp & die cut as before
- To finish off I added a sentiment and also sewed around it
- These are now ready for use on a page or pocket or tag.
Now watch the video tutorial to see how this was made :-)
