Ink & Share August Scrapbook Blog Hop - Monochromatic

Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator

Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it. I am hopping with the Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop and this month our theme is monocramatic. So I have used the lovely Beautifully Penned DSP that is FREE with a £45 order during Sale-A-Bration. It is such a good time to shop with Stampin' up! right now.

I have made a simple layered layout for one photo. I really like how the floral monochrome backgrounds really make the beautiful blur bells pop. I was undecided about adding a title but looking at the picture I am really glad I did.

Time for the closeups!

The basic layout with the fussy cut flowers, I felt the photo would get lost so I added a black photo mat.

I loved how the colourful picture from our walk in a bluebell wood some months ago looked against the monochrome background but still felt it needed something else .

There is the finishing touch ... a simple title, that says it all really :-)
