Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator
Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it and hope you like the project and will take a look at the video tutorial as well. Today it's the first Saturday of the month so it is time for the Project Share blog hop. This is the hop with my good friends Jill, Heather & Verity, we are all Stampin' Up! demonstrators in the same team and we share each others projects on our blogs every Thursday and once a month we do a blog hop. We all have a YouTube channel and I hope you will go and support them as well and subscribe if you haven't already.
This month the theme is Birthday, we are always in need for a birthday card! I have made some cards using the new Soft Pastels, I have never used pastels before so had a lot of fun trying them out.
Measurements and Materials
- Card base 5 1/2" x 8 1/4"
- Score @ 8 1/8" on the long side
- Use the Stitched with Whimsy dies to make the border on the card base
- Basic White mate die cut from the Stitched Rectangle
- This fitted inside the Stitched with Whimsy border
- It was embossed with the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder
- The embossed rectangle was wiped over with Versamark
- I then used the Soft Pastels and dragged them over so the colour stuck to the Versamark
- I die cut some flowers and leaves using the Pierced Bloom dies
- I heat embossed in white the sentiment using In Bloom stamp set
