Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator
Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it. Today I am bringing you the tutorial for the card I made for the Stamping Inkspiraitons blog hop. The theme this month was Splish Splash ... so I took this theme and used water in my card. I created a water colour block background to this simple bright card. Not quite a rainbow but wanted something multicoloured so I used the 2020-2022 in colours & added a Dragonfly.
Measurements and Materials
- Card Base - Thick Basic White card stock
- 8 1/4" x 5 7/8"
- Score @ 4 1/8 on the long side
- Each clear block was tapped in a different In Colour ink pad to cover it with ink
- They was then spritzed with water and then laid on the Basic White card stock
- This was then die cut with a Stitched Rectangle die
- A frame was cut from Misty Moonlight using the same Stitched Rectangle & one 2 sizes bigger to form a thick frame
- The flower from Dragonfly Garden was stamped over the colour blocks in black
- A small tag added with a sentiment
- A dragonfly hovers by the flower
