Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator
Thank you for visiting my blog again today, I really do appreciate it. Today I am bringing you the tutorial for the card I made for the Stampin' Dreams blog hop and this months theme was Fun Folds. I have made many different fun folds cards and wanted to try something different to I had a search and found this Corner Pop Up Card. There are many different people who have made these and I certainly did not design this fold! To get the measurements and see how to put it together I watched Dawns Stampin' Thoughts
I used the lovely Love You Always DSP for the original blog hop but for this video I have used the Hand Penned DSP, Stamp set and matching dies. You can see how different each card looks.
Measurements and Materials
- Card base 8"x8"
- Score @ 4"
- Rotate 1/4 turn & score @ 4" but only to meet the first score line
- Cut from the score line to the edge of the card
- Using the Stampin' Up! Paper Trimmer really helps with doing this
- Score diagonally the 2 squares opposite the cut line from the middle point to the outside edge
- Mats needed
- DSP 3 squares 3 1/2" x 3 1/2"
- 2 of these are cut diagonally in half
- Card stock 4 squares 3 3/4" x 3 3/4"
- 2 of these are cut diagonally in half
- Easel
- Depending on what dies you are going to use depends on size required
- I used 3 1/2" x 6"
- Score on long side @ 3" & 4 3/8"
- This was then die cut to form the easel base
- Top of easel card stock 3 1/2" x 3 1/2"
- Decoration as required
Now watch the video tutorial to see how this was made :-)
