Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop- Sketch

Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator

Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it. Today I am hopping with the Ink & Share Scrapbook blog hop and this month we have a sketch to follow. I loved the look of this sketch and knew I wanted to use it with junk for my journal. I knew that the dies we have in the Stampin' Up! catalogue would help me perfectly match the sketch. I also wanted to show a different way of using dies and how things you might throw away (or recycle) can be used in the crafting.

Measurements and Materials

  • I used some tea dyed paper and junk to create this layout
  • I have used old book pages and the brown paper from a Stampin' Up! delivery box!
  • I rip off the flaps of the box and then separate the layers
  • The brown outer and inner layers are perfect for the vintage look
  • I love using the side with the lines of glue on them from from the corrugated card
  • I also use the corrugated card but not for this layout
  • The dies I have used work so well for this layout and cut beautifully
  • I love all the stitched details
  • Dies I have used
    • Pierced Blooms
    • Tailored Made Tags
    • Nature's Thoughts
    • Word Wishes
    • Many Hearts
  • I also stamped the book page and inks the edges of the 'file folder'

Time for the closeups!
