Come Crafting With Jill & Gez Facebook Live: Making A Desk Top Calendar

Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator

Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it. Yesterday I did a Facebook Live with my good friend Jill from Paper Daisy Crafting in our Facebook Group Come Crafting With Jill and Gez. We do these once a month, usually on the first Saturday of the month unless that is a Bank Holiday which is was last Saturday so we moved it! Our theme was new products fro the 2021 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue.  I have used the Days To Remember stamp set, a hidden gem in the catalogue I believe and I teamed it up with the beautiful Hand Penned DSP. Check me out using my DSP so early in the catalogues life! lol

I wanted to make a desk top calendar, seems an obvious choice for this stamp set! I was inspired by one Jill made me which was inspired by one she received by her downline Anthony. The way you stamp the dates is so clever, who ever designed this stamp is an absolute genius.  It is so easy and pretty much foolproof.

Measurements and Materials

  • Highland Heather Card Stock 5 1/4" x 8" (x2)
  • Score one sheet on the long side @ 6 1/2 & 7 1/2"
  • Score the other on the long side @ 1/2" & 7"
  • Gorgeous Grape Card Stock 6 1/4" x 5"
  • DSP 6" x 4 3/4"
  • Stitched So Sweetly dies used for mats and calendar
  • The calendar stamp is just magic, you can stamp any month of any year with it
  • You just move it on the ink pad so that the days fall in the correct sequence depending on if you want your weeks to start on a Monday or a Sunday. I like a Monday start.
  • The month section fits just perfectly onto the ink pad so you won't get other number you don't want inked - genius
