The Project Share April Blog Hop: Floral

Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator

Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it and hope you like the project and will take a look at the video tutorial as well. Today I am hopping with my friends Jill, Verity & Heather from The Project Share. This month our theme is floral. I am using the Ornate Garden Speciality DSP, that is 10% off on the Last Chance Products sale. I decided to do a One Sheet Wonder, not done one for ages and I do love doing them. I got 14 cards from one sheet! I think that is the most I have got from a OSW.

Measurements and Materials

  • 12"x12" sheet of Ornate Garden Speciality DSP
  • First cut was made at 5 3/8"
    • This trip was then cut on the long side at every 3 5/8"
    • You will get 3 full card mats plus a small off cut strip
    • The 3 mats are what I used for these 3 cards
  • The I cut the remaining piece on the short side @ 4"
    • I then cut that strip into 4 equal rectangles every 3"
    • SO you have 4 rectangles 3" x 4"
    • These 4 mats will make 4 cards
    • This will be the  Part 2 video tutorial
  • The final strip was cut on the long side @ 5 3/8"
    • Repeat to get another 5 3/8" strip
    • These 2 mats will make 2 cards
    • This will be the  Part 3 video tutorial
    • You are left with a small off cut
  • The 2 off cuts are used to make 5 cards, yes thats right I made 5 cards with them bring the total cards made to 14!
    • This will be the  Part 4 video tutorial
  • I used some mats on the white and gold side and some were the Daisy side
  • I colours 4 of the white & gold mats
    • One I used the water colour pencils
    • One I used the blending brushes to get an ombre affect
    • Once I used sponge daubers and ink pads
    • One I used blends

Now watch the video tutorial to see how I cut up the 12x12 sheet and made the first 3 cards, there will be 3 other videos in this mini series  :-)
