Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator
Thank you for visiting my blog today on Junk Journal day. I really do appreciate it and hope you like the project and will take a look at the video tutorial as well. This project is using basically junk! The base of the tags are the card from medication boxes, I have a constant supply of those! I have also used some corrugated cardboard from a delivery box, I have a constant supply of those as well lol!
Measurements and Materials
- In my video I show you how I take apart the corrugated cardboard box
- I took each layer of card off
- I found using a kettle and steaming the cardboard for a bit
- I wanted to use just the corrugated section so there was less bulk
- I have used the brown outer paper as well in other projects, I love the lines that are left as it gives texture
- I cut up the medicine boxes and covered them on old book pages
- I added some of the corrugated card
- Some tea stained cheese cloth
- A ripped doily
- An image, I made these tickets using some images I downloaded from a Public Domain site
- I added some stamping and some bakers twine to add interest
- Topped them off with some ribbon I stapled on
- One I cut to 2" wide so I could use the Delightful Tag topper punch
- I just love ripping and sticking
