Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator
Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it. Today I am hoping with the Technique Tuesday Blog Hop and the theme is Ribbon. So we had to use ribbon in our project. I have decided to make a 'real' tie for a shirt card. I have used the Suit & Tie dies to create the shirt and made the tie using ribbon so it looks real.
Measurements and Materials
- Card base Night of Navy
- 8 1/4" x 5 7/8"
- Scored @ 4 1/8"
- Shirt is made with the Boho Indigo DSP & the Suit & Tie Die set
- One 6"x6' sheet is used for the shirt
- Cut mat 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
- Die cut collar, pocket & centre strip out of what is left of the 6"x6" sheet
- Buttons die cut from Night of Navy
- Tie die is used to cut from Night of Navy card stock
- Strips of the Boho Indigo ribbon are wrapped round the tie and glued on the back
- Cover back with stampin seal plus or tear and tape
- Cut strip of ribbon big enough to cover front of tie and overlap the back of tie
- Tie is glued to centre of shirt and tucked under the collar
- Collar and pocket popped up on dimentionals
