Ink. Stamp. Share March Showcase Blog Hop

Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it. Today I am hopping with the Ink. Stamp. Share Showcase Blog Hop.  I love this hop because there is no theme and we can share what we are working on. I have been making a lot of cards with the Suit & Tie Dies but have not actually made a suit & tie card! So that is what I decided to do today. I have used the In Good Taste DSP and not the Well Suited DSP, still stroking that pack lol! I do hope you like the project and will take a look at the video tutorial as well and also hop round and see what everyone else has been making.

Measurements and Materials

  • Basic Black card base 5 7/8" x 4 1/8"
  • Basic White card mats 5 5/8" x 3 7/8" (x2 one for inside card as well) 
  • DSP Mat 5 5/8" x 3 7/8" then use the 'V' shape die to cut the suit shape
  • Small rectangle of DSP bit enough for the lapel die
  • Die cut the pockets for the jacket from the scraps
  • Die cut collar for shirt from Basic White
  • Die cut tie from coloured DSP, I used the 6"x6" colour family DSP packs
  • Die cut a small triangle for the handkerchief, I used the Stitched Triangle dies  
  • Sentiments are from the Many Messages stamp set and cut out from the matching die
  • I added a decorative strip using the Lovely Label Pick a punch
