Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator
Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it, today I am bringing you another project in my Vintage Days Journal series. I do hope you like the project and will take a look at the video tutorial as well. I am almost at the stage of making the cover, just a few finishing touches required. Today I am making a double bag pocket and a floating bag. I printed the digital onto layout paper (50gsm) and then turned it into faux vellum by ironing wax onto it. I have done a video on this previously and I have linked that below.
Measurements and Materials
- For the double bag pocket I folded the sheets in half
- I punched 2 partial circles out of the what would be the top of the bags
- I inked the edges
- I glued around the 3 sides of each bag
- For the floating bag I scored 1/2" along the bottom long edge
- I folded The two short sides into the middle so they overlapped by aprox 1/2"
- The 2 small rectangles on the bottom edge were cut off
- I used pinking shears on the top of the bag to give a decorate edge
- The centre sections were glued together
- The bottom flap was glued in place
- Now all that is required is some tags :-)
