Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator
Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it.Today I am bringing you the video tutorial for the project I made for the Stamp n Hop blog hop. This month we had a colour challenge. I decided to make a pen pot for my desk. I have made a bigger version but as the paper is 6"x6" this version was going to be smaller and perfect for my crafty essentials. The colours for the challenge were very masculine so have made one in my favourite Blackberry Bliss for the video. As I have more than one desk I need more than one pen pot!
Measurements and Materials
- You need 6 sheets of 6" x 6" DSP to make this pot
- Each one is folded on the same origami style to create a clever robust pen pot
- A rectangle of card stock is used with each triangle to give it strength
- 2 15/16" x 1 1/2"
- I cut the largest scalloped circle for the base and punched out circled to decorate the top and cover up where they all joined up
- The pen pot measure 3" tall so is a good size for pins and other crafty tools on your desk
