InspireINK February Blog Hop: Colour Challenge

Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it and hope you like the project. I made this for the InspireINK blog hop. This month we have a Tic Tac Toe colour challenge. I have gone for the bottom line, Petal Pink, Gold & Basic Grey. I have decorated one of the Love You Always Treat Boxes available in the new Stampin' Up! Jan - June Mini Catalogue. These boxes are really strong and a great size and so easy to put together and decorate as you wish.  I was playing around with them to see what dies would fit the box and discovered the rectangle from Flowering Vine Dies fits perfectly on the top and the Label die fits on the side. The thing that made me really excited though was discovering that the small die with the stay in design from Ornate Layers fits inside the label die. Now that is something to get excited about!

Measurements and Materials

  • The Love you Always treat box measures 4 1/6" x 2 11/16" x 1 1/2"
  • The rectangle die from the Flowering Vine Dies fits perfectly on the top of the box
  • This was cut in Petal Pink
  • The label die fits on the long side 
  • This was also cut in Petal Pink
  • Once cut the small die from Ornate Layers was cut into the label 
  • This was matted with Basic Grey using the Lovely Label Pick a punch
  • The flower dies were cut out in Basic Grey and laid behind the flowers in the rectangle die
  • A gold Gilded gem was placed in the centre of each flower on the top of the box
