Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop February "LOVE"

Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator

Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it. This is my second blog hop of the day! This is the Ink & Share Scrapbook blog hop. I had forgotten how much I enjoy working with 12"x12" scrapbook pages. This was so much fun to do. The theme was love. So I thought about the past year and despite lockdown, cancelled holidays, not having my youngest home for Christmas, getting Covid! There has actually been so many really lovely things things that I have loved about the last year. One of them is the lovely walks Ed & I have been on. We have discovered beauty on our doorstep that we didn't know existed. We have been blessed with so much glorious sunshine and I wanted to capture that in this layout. It is quite simply put together, one die set, some card stock and 2 Memories & More cards.

Measurements and Materials

  • 12"x12" Basic White sheet
  • 3 scored lines 1/8" apart on each edge of the sheet to add some interest
    • 3/8" - 1/2" - 5/8"
  • Mossy Meadow mat 5 1/2"" x 8 1/4"
  • 2 cards from the Dandy Garden Memories and More pack
    • Cards where white & Mossy Meadow
    • A simple outline drawing of foliage
    • The smaller card had the sentiment "Time together is time well spent"
    • I felt this was really appropriate as we have spent 24/7 together for almost a year!

  3. This layout proves less is more. I love the way you've added scores lines round the edges. I do this with cards, but never think to do it on 12x12 layouts! Thank you,
    Karen x
