Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator
Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it. I am bringing you another Junk Journal tutorial. I know I usually do this on a Wednesday but have decided to bring them twice a week. I seem to be spending more time doing them while in lockdown so thought I'd do more tutorials, I hope you enjoy them as much as me. This is the first of the tutorial for the journal I made using the Artymaze kit, Vintage Days. I am making 2 more journals and will be making tutorials for each of the different pockets and tags I made. This first tutorial is an altered envelope. The one I made for the original journal was the first one I ever made, I really enjoyed making it and loved making 2 more for the next journals.
Measurements and Materials
- I used window envelopes for these altered envelopes
- Once was brown and one was white
- They had different sized windows
- I used gesso to cover any printing on the envelope
- I decoupage a paper napkin on top of the entire envelope
- I removed the plastic from the window and replaced it with vellum
- Pockets were created and tags using the Vintage Days kit
