Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator
Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it. I am bringing you another Junk Journal. This one I made over the Christmas break using an Artymaze kit, Vintage Days. I decided to try out a digital kit and see what it is like. There were full pages and tags and lots of photos and ephemera. I do like the quickness of it but really like to create my own things so I always added to the tags but I did leave the envelopes as they were. Another advantage with the printed layers as it cuts down on the bulk in the journal. I spent about 2 weeks on this while doing other things as well. I really enjoyed it. I am really happy with it and liked coming up with my own ideas as well as using the pockets in the kit. I made a mistake with the cover but it is for me so not really bothered, but I will correct if I do a cover like this again.
Measurements and Materials
- I used the Artymaze Vintage Days kit
- A4 tea and coffee dyed paper
- Vintage book pages
- Vintage music paper
- Old book page I tea dyed
- Doilies I tea dyed
- Old school exercise book pages
- All tags were trimmed with tea dyed cheese cloth
- Some tags were made with a collage sheet using the kit elements
- Pockets made using the pattered sheets in the kit
- Some pages were shrunk and waxed to create faux vellum
- I also used some vintage documents from a kit I bought fro the Old design shop on Etsy
- I also used some tickets from an ephemera kit from Artymaze
