Ink Stamp Share Scrapbook January Blog Hop

Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator

Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it. Today I am taking part in a new blog hop, the Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop. I joined this blog hop because I have a few scrapbooks I wish to finish and thought this would help me to do this. By the end of the year I should have at least 12 pages done! For this first on I decided to do a #simplestamping layout. This was a very quick page and I could actually probably finish a scrapbook in a weekend if I did every page like this!

I have used the Pretty Perennials stamp set, this is a lovely stamp set that comes with matching dies. I just love it and am using it a lot at the moment.

Measurements and Materials

  • I cut 3 panels from a page from a retired Stampin' Up! catalogue
    • I used catalogue pages because they are very thing and this would mean there was not a gap in the stamping
    • I cut 2 rectangles 6" x 4" & 4" x 3"
    • I also cut a square 4" x 4"
  • I used a 12x12 sheet of white card stock
  • I arranges the cut outs on the card stock and stuck them with a glue stick so it could be pulled off after I had stamps the flowers
  • I used colours fro the regals colour family
    • Blackberry Bliss
    • Real Red
    • Pumpkin Pie
    • Crushed Curry
    • Garden Green
    • I then used Cajun Craze to blend the ink around the stamping
  • I cut mats in Garden Green to add the photos to ...once I decide which photos to add to the page

Time for the closeups!

The beauty of this layout is that it can be used in any orientation. I cut mats in Garden Green card stock to add my photos to ... when I decide what to put on this page!
