Ink Stamp Share December Blog Hop: New Mini & Sale-A-Bration Catalogue

Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator

Thank you for visiting my blog on the last day of 2020! Phew! Today I am taking part in the Ink Stamp Share blog hop and the theme is the new Stampin' Up! Mini Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration. So I am using some new products from the mini catalogue, the bundle and DSP I am using are from the Dandy Garden Suite. I used the Dragon Fly Garden bundle which has a stamp set and a dragon fly punch, I love a stamp set with a punch. I also used the matching Dandy Garden DSP. Along with these new products I have also used one from the retiring list, the Little Treat Bag die set.

Ink Stamp Share December Blog Hop: New Mini & Sale-A-Bration Catalogue

Measurements and Materials

  • The Little Treat Bag die will cut out from a 6" x 6" sheet of DSP
  • The dragon fly was punched out of another sheet of DSP
  • The sentiment was stamped and then fully cut out
  • Both were adhered to the stitched scallop circle cut using one of the dies from the set.
  • The Little Treat Bag was stuck to form the bigger bag which allows for extra treats
  • The bag was closed using some crinkled seam binding ribbon

The Project Share 31st Dec 2020

Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator

Nigezza Creates Project Share Stampin Up!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today, it's Thursday so it's time for another Project Share.  Every Thursday I chose a project from 3 of my crafty friends. From the left we have Jill aka Paper Daisy Crafting, Verity aka Inkybutterfly, me and Heather aka Stamp with Nellie.

We would all like to wish you a very Happy New Year and hope 2021 brings better times for us all  💜

This week I have decided to look back over the year and pick my favourite project from everyone. I do hope you like my choices.

Heather from Stamp With Nellie

The Project Share 31st Dec 2020

I love this bag, I loved it then and I still love it now. It makes me think of a beach bag and sunny days and makes me remember the glorious sunny walks I have enjoyed this year and that some of 2020 has been wonderful.

Verity from Inkybutterfly

The Project Share 31st Dec 2020

I was reminded that we were unable to order the new in colour inks at preorder so we had to think outside the box when showcasing the new colours. Verity did an amazing job with these cards.

You can take a closer look at this project by clicking here :-)

Jill from Paper Daisy Crafting

The Project Share 31st Dec 2020

Finally it just has to be a purple card from Jill. So many to chose from but this is the one that beat all the others. I just love everything about this card, just perfect 💜

I hope you have enjoyed these projects and have visited the blogs. I will be back tomorrow with another  project, until then ...

My Gothic Journal: Sewing In The Signatures

Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator

Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it. Today as part of my junk journal series I am bringing you another episode in my Gothic Journal. This time I am sewing in the signatures

My Gothic Journal: Sewing In The Signatures

Measurements and Materials

  • I created a template for making the holes in the signatures
  • This is important as you need each hole to made in the same place so that the pages are even and they go in straight
  • I cut my thin card for the template the same height as the signature
  • Template for holes for sewing signatures
    • 8 1/4" x 2 1/2"
    • Mark 7/8" from each long side and draw a line
    • Fold in half longways to find the centre point on the 2 lines drawn
    • Fold each end to the centre and fold each end to this fold
      • This is where the 2 outer holes will be
      • See picture of the template
  • I then did the 3 hole pamphlet stitch

Now watch the video tutorial to see how this was made :-)
