Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator
Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it. Today I am taking part in the monthly InspireINK blog hop. I love this blog hop because it is a team blog hop and I especially love it this year because it is the closest we have been to being together. The theme this month is Christmas so I have made a project I first saw my team mate Karen of Crafty Karen Designs share on my Facebook group, she has CASE'd The Paper Pixie so I just had to go and have a look. I made my prototype with my sister who was really pleased and said I bet these would hold a miniature. What a fab idea and she said they would make great presents for work colleagues. However we soon discovered that not all bottles will fit so I had to set about playing with the measurements to get it to fit most bottles. 4th attempt later and I did it! I also decided to add glitter paper to all 3 sections of the folded part.
Measurements and Materials
- Basic Black card stock 101/2" x 8 1/4"
- Score on the long side @
- 1 1/4" - 2 1/2" - 3 3/4" - 5" - 6 1/4" - 7 1/2" - 8 3/4" - 10"
- Score on the short side @
- 1 1/4" - 4 1/8" - 7"
- Score on the top and bottom of each long side down to the first horizontal score line @
- 1 7/8" - 4 3/8" - 6 7/8" - 9 3/8"
- Ensure you flip to change ends and not rotate card stock
- 1/4" section needs to be on the right hand side so you will score on the wrong side after you flip the card stock
- DSP Mats x 8
- 1 1/8" x 2 3/4"
- Glitter Card x 8
- 1" x 2 5/8"
- Mark 1/2" at one short end
- Score diagonal lines from each opposite corner to the 1/2" mark
- Cut up these score lines to give you the 3 sections to glue down
- Make a hole in the centre of every other square at one end
- Here is a template to help you :-)
