The Joy Of Sets August Reading Is FONTS-amental Blog Hop

Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator

Thank you for visiting my blog today. I am delighted to be taking part in  the Joy Of Sets blog hop again. The theme this month is Reading Is FONTS-amental Blog Hop. I have really enjoyed doing some mixed media for this project. I do hope you like it.

Measurements and Materials

  • I have used various stamp and dies sets to create this junk journal page
  • I have also used paper napkins and decoupaged them on top of an old book page
  • Lots of ink blending
  • I even stamped on the paper napkin white layer with Stazon and decoupaged that to the envelope pocket, I love doing this as the effect is so much nicer than just stamping straight onto the page
  • The small journalling card was created with the
    • Stitched So Sweetly die set
    • Old World Paper embossing folder
    • Very Versailles stamp set
    • Peaceful Moments stamp set
    • Cinnamon Cider ink
  • I also used word dies from
    • Word Wishes
    • Parisian Dies
  • Really love the mixture of all the fonts

Video Tutorial

If you pop back on Wednesday I will have a video tutorial to show how I made this  :-)
