3D Cube Pop Up Christmas Card

Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator

Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it. I am here today with the tutorial for the 3D cube pop up card I made for the InspireINK blog ho I was on yesterday. I have seen so many people make this card that I just have to give in and see how it was done. I researched back to who I think made it first and have used her measurements. It has turned out bigger than I thought so will be making a smaller version soon.

So credit goes to Iced Images

Measurements and Materials

  • Base of card is made using Barmy Blue card stock
    • Centre piece 5 1/2" x 11 1/2"
    • 2 smaller cubes 2 3/4" x 11 1/2"
  • All 3 are scored in the same way
    • Score on the long side @ 2 3/4" - 5 1/2" - 8 1/4" - 11"
  • Mats Night of Nave x 6
    • 2 1/2" x 2 1/2"
    • I cut the snowflakes form So Many Snowflake dies from each of these mats to save on card stock

    • 6 cut to mat on the Night of Navy squares
      • 2 1/4" x 2 1/4"
    • 6 cut to go inside the cubes

    • Matted with the Scallop circle die in Night of Navy
  • Sentiment attached with a hinge
    • 1/4" x 1 1/2"
    • Fold in half
    • Apply adhesive to both folded sides
    • Stick on lover section of middle card section, folded edges together
    • Stick sentiment to this
    • Do this before you add the DSP mat - unlike what I did in the video!
    • See video tutorial for attaching

Now watch the video tutorial to see how this was made :-)
