Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator

Today I am sharing the tutorial for the card I made for the Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop. This months theme is 'Case a card'. Every other Wednesday I share projects by my good friend Jill Chapman from Paper Daisy Crafting and there have been so many times I have thought 'I have got to make that', so it was a no brainer to pick one of her cards. 2 years ago Jill made a really cute card with the SAB free stamp set that featured pandas, last year she remade it with the frogs so I am doing it with the cute Ladybug stamp set.
Measurements and Materials
- Card Base Real Red
- 8 1/4" x 5 7/8" - Score @ 4 1/8"
- 14.6cm x 21cm - Score @ 10.5cm
- Mat 1 From The Heart DSP
- 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"
- 14.3cm x 10.2cm
- Whisper White panel cut from the 3rd largest Stitched Rectangle
- Inside pop up section
- 5 5/8" x 8" score @ 4" on long side
- 13.7cm x 20cm score @ 10cm on long side
- Lightly draw a pencil line 1" (5cm) from the folded edge
- Mark points along this line
- 5/8" - 1 5/8" - 2 3/8" - 3 3/8" - 4 1/8" - 5 1/8"
- 2cm - 6cm - 7.5cm - 10cm - 11.5cm
- Cut from the fold line to the pencil line at these 5 points
- The 1" (2.5cm) sections form the 3 pop ups
- Strip of DSP 1/2" x 5 5/8"
- All ladybirds are stamped, coloured and fussy cut with a small border
- I used blends to colour body and wings and water colour pencils for the face

How to order
