Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator
Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it and hope you like the project and will take a look at the video tutorial as well. I really like to get the most out of my stash and I especially wanted to get the most out of this beautiful sheet of DSP. Looking at this sheet with the rows of snowmen I knew I could use them as they were on a card and wanted to cut them in such a way that I got as many as possible. The stitched rectangle dies and large square die really helped. The Let it Snow embellishment kit really made these cards look extra special. I got 6 cards from half a sheet so if you have the full pack then you could make 24 cards from the 2 sheets you get. These are such cute cards.
Measurements and Materials
- Card Base - Coastal Cabana
- 8 1/4" x 5 7/8" - Score @ 4 1/8"
- 14.6cm x 21cm - Score @ 10.5cm
- Mat 1 - Whisper White
- 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"
- 14.3cm x 10cm
- I used my homemade embossing sheet with the snowflake dies from Seasonal Layers, to give a subtle snowflake embossed background to the white mat
- I cut the snowmen out using various stitched rectangles and the largest stitched square
- I cut further rectangles and squares in Coastal Cabana cardstock to mat the snowmen on
- I decided to not make full mats instead they are just at the corners to give s different effect
- I added hats and scarves and washi from the Let it Snow embellishment kit
- One of the snowmen fit the punch so I punched out some of them and popped it up on dimensionals
