Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator
Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it and hope you like the project and will take a look at the video tutorial as well. I made a card on Tuesday using 3"x6" piece of Feels Like frost DSP, this project uses the rest of that 6"x6" sheet. So 5 cards were made in total from the 6"x6" sheet of DSP. I have used the other side of the sheet for this card.
Measurements and Materials
- Card Base - Thick Whisper White
- 8 1/4" x 5 7/8" - Score @ 4 1/8"
- 14.6cm x 21cm - Score @ 10.5cm
- Mat 1 - Whisper White embossed with snowflakes
- 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"
- 14.3cm x 10cm
- To emboss with snowflakes
- Die cut snowflakes from Seasonal Layers or any other snowflake dies you have
- Stick onto a piece of card stock bigger than a card base
- Use this as an embossing folder and place the card mat on it, for a sandwich for your die cutting machine and run it through
- You may need to add a shim and a silicon mat as I did to get a good impression
- DSP Cut into 2 equal squares
- 3" x 3"
- 7.72cm x 7.62cm
- Using the largest Stitched Square die cut from each square
- You will have a 2 stitched squares and 2 frames
- Punch a tree from each square of DSP
- For the sentiment
- Stamp Ho Ho Ho with versamark
- Heat emboss with silver powder
- Punch using the classic label punch
- I punched again close to the sentiment
- Punch another label with silver foil card
- Mat them together
- You can place the sentiment across the tree or under the square which ever you prefer
