Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator
Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it and hope you like the project and will take a look at the video tutorial as well. Do you remember the project I did last week where I coloured some Laser Cut Delicately Detailed Speciality paper? I had the sheet of Whisper White below it and the laser cut sheet acted like a stencil to create another beautiful sheet of 12x12 paper. I spent ages deciding what to do with the sheet and decided to make a gift box to hold the cards I made with the laser cut sheet.
Measurements and Materials
For the folder cover
- Thick Whisper White 11" x 7"
- Score @ 5" & 6" on the long side
- Fresh Fig Mats
- 4 3/4" x 6 3/4" (x2)
- 3/4" x 6 3/4"
- Stenciled Sheet Mats
- 4 1/2" x 6 1/2" (x2)
- 1/2" x 6 1/2"
For the card pocket
- Whisper White 10 3/8" x 3 5/8"
- Score on long side @ 5/8" - 5" - 5 5/8" - 10"
- Score on short side @ 5/8"
- Fresh Fig mat 4 1/8" x 2 3/4"
- Stencilled Sheet Mat 3 7/8" x 2 1/2"
For the envelope pocket
- Whisper White 10" x 3 1/4"
- Score on long side @ 1/4" - 4 7/8" - 5 1/8" - 9 3/4"
- Score on short side @ 1/4"
- Fresh Fig mat 4 5/8" x 2 3/4"
- Stencilled Sheet Mat 4 1/8" x 2 1/2"
All sections were decorated with a strip of Fresh Fig that had been punched using the Decorative Ribbon Punch
Closure made with magnets. In the video I stuck them under the Fresh Fig layer, I think if I made it again I would stick the magnets under the stencilled mat instead.
