Thank you for visiting my blog again today ...yes its my second blog of the day! I really do appreciate it and hope you like the project. I am taking part in an Inspire. Create. Challenge this week. It is the second time I have done this and almost forgot to post my card! This challenge is a theme and the theme is pets.

Here is what I have made using the cat punch.

Measurements and Materials

Thick Whisper White card stock for the card base

8 1/4" x 5 7/8"

I use the Simple Stripes embossing folder to create a check look but embossing one in one direction then turning card base 90 degrees and embossing again
Gingham Gala DSP

Daffodil Delight and Lemon line twist was used for a panel on the front of card

I punched the car out with the Daffodil Gingham sheet
I stuck this to a Whisper White oval
This was layered onto a Lemon Lime Twist scalloped oval
I stamped in Daffodil Delight the Happy Birthday sentiment from Detailed with loved onto Whisper White
This was cut out using a small oval die
I small scalloped oval die was cut out of Lemon Lime twist

Photo Cube Using Botanical Butterflies

This is the last day of Sale-A-Bration so I am sharing another project using the absolutely stunning Botanical Butterfly DSP that is FREE with a £45 order. Photo Cube Using Botanical Butterflies, Stampin' Up! Nigezza Creates

Measurements and Materials

Each side of the cube is made from 6" x 6" patterned paper. You can make them all the same as I have done of mix your papers. I have done this both ways in the pat. The cube measures 3" x 3" x 3"

Botanical Butterfly DSP 6 sheets 6" x 6"
The important thing about this project is accurate folding and good creases
You fold in half and into quarters on both sides as well as the diagonals
If is best to watch the video to see how this is done as it is hard to describe or show in photos.
You need 6 squares of card stock, I used Highland Heather 2 7/8" x 2 7/8"
You can add 6 squares of Window sheets to protect your photos 2 7/8" x 2 7/8"
To join the 6 sides of the cube you need 12 hinges 2" x 2"
These are scored on the diagonal and burnished

I had intended to make a mini album as my last project but yesterday a YouTube video reminded me of this photo cube that I have not made for years so decided to so this instead. The project that jogged my memory was by a fellow Pinkie Kare Bolt who is on YouTube as Inkstampshare.

Botanical Butterfly Card Using Stampin' Blends

Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it and hope you like the project and will take a look at the video tutorial as well. I am bringing you an extra video tutorial today because Sale-A-Bration ends at 10.50pm tomorrow (Sunday 31st March 2019) and there were a few things I wanted to do with the beautiful FREE Botanical Butterfly paper that I had not done yet. SO here it it, a bit of alcohol marker colouring on the stunning monochrome side of one of the sheets. See others do this and just had to have a go. I do hope you like this and remember if you want the paper pack you must place a £45 order (before P&P) before the offer expires because once Sale-A-Bration is over you will not be able to get these papers again.

Measurements and Materials

Both cards used a Basic Grey card base to pick out the background of the butterfly mat I coloured.

Bermuda Bay Card

Basic Grey base

8 1/4" x 5 7/8"
Folded in half 4 1/8" x 5 7/8"

Whisper White Mat

3 7/8" x 5 5/8"

Bermuda Bay Mat

5 1/2" x 3 3/8"

Botanical Butterfly DSP Mat

5 3/8" x 3 1/4"

I used the sentiment from Varied Vases and stamped straight onto the Whisper White Mat
I added the Costal Cabana/Granny Apple Green ribbon and tied a bow after the ribbon had been stuck down

Flirty Flamingo Card

Basic Grey base

5 1/2" x 8 1/4"
Folded sin half 4 1/8" x 5 1/2"
I wanted to get as close to an American card base as I could because I wanted to use the Stitched Rectangles and they mat perfectly on this size of a card base

Flirty Flamingo mat was cut using the largest stitched rectangle die
The Botanical Butterfly DSP Mat was cut using the next largest stitched rectangle die
I again added some ribbon this time the Flirty Flamingo ribbon form the duo pack.
I decided not to add a sentiment to this card
