Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator
Thank you so much for visiting my blog today, I really hope you like my project. After doing the 'Pink' challenge I really needed to cleanse myself so I went to the opposite extreme and visited my Neutral stamps! Ironically I used a stamp set called Vibrant Vases lol!
Measurements and Materials
The card layers are my usual C6 card base and 1/4" smaller layers all the way around.
- Half a standard A4 Sheet of card stock
- 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"
- Folded size
- 5 7/8" x 4 1/8"
- Mat #1 size
- 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
- Mat #2 size
- 5 3/8" x 3 5/8"
- I used Crumb Cake Card Stock for the card base
- Soft Sued for layer #1
- Whisper White for layer #2
- I cut a scallop oval from the Soft Sued layer
- I stamped the image all over the Whisper White layer #2 in Gray Granite
- On a separate piece of Whisper White I stamped the Flowers in Early Expresso and coloured then in Soft Sued
- To get a more subtle colour I used the blender pens dipped in the ink from the ink pad
- I stamped the vases on a scrap of Whisper White and punch it out
- I coloured section of the vase with Gray Granite ink which I again used the Blender pens
- I layered all layers together and tied the Braided Linen Trim around the Whisper White layer and added a bow on the top.
