Thank you so much for visiting my blog today. What a busy day I had yesterday with 2 blog hops! Today as promised is the tutorial and measurements for the Pootlers Blog Hop. The tutorial for the InspireINK Blog Hop will be on Tuesday so I hope you will pop back for that.
As I did two projects basically I have done 2 video tutorials. The first one is the One Sheet Wonder and the second video shows you how to make the box that holds all the cards and envelopes.
Measurements and Materials
- I have used extra thick Whisper white for the card bases
- The sheet of 12x12 DSP for the One Sheet Wonder
- Coordinating card stock in Highland Heather, Balmy Blue, Lemon Lime twist, Grapefruit Grove and Daffodil Delight.
- I have also used the Butterfly punch to punch out butterflies from the DSP.
- Plus the 2" circle Punch and the Starburst punch.
- All the cards are Happy Birthday cards and I have used the sentiment from Happy Birthday Gorgeous.
- The Template for the One Sheet Wonder is available to purchase for £1.25 there are details in my Online Class section of my blog
- Upon payment I will send you the PDF with the Template and all cutting sizes for the mats
- I will also include the Close up Pictures of both the Butterfly OSW and the original Christmas one so you can see how versatile it is.
- One Sheet Wonders take a lot of time to work out and plan so I have decided to sell the templates now for a small cost, I hope you will appreciate that most of the time I give freely my designs but once a month I am going to be offering either an online class or as in this case a One Sheet wonder for a small charge. I am not charging for the box
To make the box
- Box base
- 11 1/2" x 7"
- Score @ 2 1/2" on all 4 sides
- Box Flap
- 6 1/2" x 11 3/4"
- Score on the log side @ 1" - 6" - 8"
- If you are in America and have 8 1/2" x 11" card stock then you can either not have the 1" fold at the bottom so you would have 6 1/2" x 10 3/4" and score @ 5" - 7"
- Card Stock Mats
- Base Front: 6 1/4" x 2 1/4"
- Front of flap: 6 1/4" x 3 3/8"
- Top of flap: 6 1/4" x 1 3/4"
- Back of box: 6 1/4" x 4 3/4"
- DSP Mats
- Base Front: 6" x 2"
- Front of flap: 6" x 3 1/8"
- Top of flap: 6" x 1 1/2"
- Back of box: 6" x 4 1/2"
- To decorate I used the 2" circle punch
- Starburst punch
- Butterfly cut from the FREE Sale-A-Bration DSP
- Some ribbon, I did use the FREE Sale-A-Bration ribbon but sadly due t demand far exceeding prediction this is now out of stock and will not be returning.
- This is really regrettable and all those who were lucky enough to order it those back orders are being honoured but ordering for this item has now been turned off :-(
- I am really sad about this as I have used it so much I was going to get some more but even Stampin' Up! Demonstrators cannot get it anymore
