Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator
Thank you so much for visiting my blog today, I am really excited to be sharing with you the swaps I made for Stampin' Up! On Stage in Birmingham. I was there yesterday (or at the time of writing I will be there in 3 days time!)
For those who do not know On Stage happens twice a year to launch new catalogues and to celebrate achievements of Stampin' Up! demonstrators. There are numerous events all over the world in every market that Stampin' Up! sell in. They take place in April to launch the Annual catalogue and in November to launch the Spring Sumer Catalogue. The Autumn Winter Catalogue is launched on the Annual Incentive trip that Demonstrators can achieve through their sales and recruitment. I have attended 2 on Stage events but not yet the incentive trip but I have a plan to be on the next one :-)
For the UK market the event was in Birmingham. I attended along with 100s of other UK demos, among them some of my friends who I have made along my Stampin Up! journey.
A major part of the event is swapping, most demonstrators will make small 3D items or cards, usually all the same (may change the DSP used for each as I did) they then swap these items with other demonstrators at the event and all take home different swaps to help inspire them for future products they may make for customer thank yous, use in classes or just to enjoy. It is also a great time to meet other demos that you may have followed on Youtube, Pinterest, Instagram and facebook. I have made many friends and some not met in person, it is so lovely to to actually meet the people I have chatted to online.
If you would like to attend the next On Stage in April then all you have to do is join my team and you can apply along with me. I would love to be there with you :-)
Here is the Tea bag swap I made.

- To make each teabag folder I used
- 3" x 6"
- Scored on long side @ 2 1/4" & 4 1/2"
- Classic Label Punch
- I use this to punch a hole on the bigger flap in the center of the flap
- I used a post it to help me line t up to make bulk making easier - demonstrated in the video
- All score lines were burnished and the largest flap with the hole punched out was slightly curled using the bone folder
- The tea bag was attached in the middle section of the folder with a glue dot
- The sides were folded over
- The wings of the butterfly were gently curled to look like it was in flight
- The butterfly was stuck in place though the punched out section
- The butterfly holds the folder shut and when you want to open it the wings will slip through the punched out hole
