Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator
Hi and thank you for reading my blog today, I really do appreciate it. I have a simple Christmas card today and then I have stepped it up to make it more 'WOW'!
I am using the lovely set Peaceful Noel for these cards, I really love this set.
Measurements and Materials

- Peaceful Noel Photopolymer Stamp Set
- I used the Noel stamp and the watercolour splodge (thats the technical term lol)
- Very Vanilla Note Cards & Envelopes
- I used 2 for the first simple cards
- Mossy Meadow Classic Stampin' Pad
- To stamp on the card
- Merry Merlot Classic Stampin' Pad
- To stamp on the card
- Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad
- To stamp on the card
- Merry Merlot A4 Cardstock
- For the card base of 'wow' card
- 5 7/8" x 8 1/4" - folded in half
- Card size 5 7/8" x 4 1/8"
- For the stitched die cut for the mat of the sentiment
- Mossy Meadow A4 Cardstock
- For the card base of the 'wow' card
- 5 7/8" x 8 1/4" - folded in half
- Card size 5 7/8" x 4 1/8"
- For the sprig punch outs
- Very Vanilla A4 Card Stock
- For the card front layers on the 'wow' cards
- 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
- Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies
- For the topper with the sentiment stamped on
- For the mats to stick the toppers on to
- Simple Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder
- Used to give the Very Vanilla mats some interest
- The card stock was placed in the folder in 3 different way
- It was place in the normal way
- It was placed sideways
- It was placed at a diagonal
- This gave 3 different effects
- Sprig Punch
- Used to create a sort of wreath around the circle sentiment on top of the Mossy Meadow card

I really hope you liked these cards and can see how easy it is to take a simple card and turn it into a 'WOW" card.
Don't get me wrong I LOVE a CAS (Clean and Simple) card and I adore the little note card cards I made to start with but I also LOVE how the other cards turned out as well.

What a great idea Gez and I think that this sort of stepping up could be done with a variety of different stamp sets. TFS :O) xxx
