Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator
Thank you for joining me today. I am sharing the card I made for this weeks #stampinforall DT challenge. It is a card using a die cut some DSP and ribbon. I decided to make a card using a cat as the focal point as I have neglected the lovely cat punch for ages. I really wanted a stamp set with a face for the cat so I could give it some personality. When I saw the stamp set Best Bunny I hoped the 3 bunny faces would fit the cat punch and it does - yay!
I think you will agree that these faces really improve the cat by giving it some character and adding the bow really makes it cute as well.
Measurements and Materials
- Whisper White A4 Thick Cardstock
- For the card base
- Standard sheet cut in half scored in half
- Whisper White A4 Card Stock
- The larges Stitched oval was cut for the cat to sit on
- Scrap used for the sentiment
- Calypso Coral A4 Card Stock
- Used to cut the Scalloped oval to mat the Stitched oval onto
- Scrap for the sentiment mat and the bow
- Basic Gray A4 Card Stock
- Scrap for the cat
- Garden Impressions 6" X 6" (15.2 X 15.2 Cm) Designer Series Paper
- 3" x width of card base
- Cat Punch
- Used to punch out the cat!

- Used one of the 3 faces for the cat, love these stamps
- Bow for the cat to look cute
- Varied Vases Photopolymer Stamp Set
- Thanks sentiment
- Classic Label Punch
- To cut and mat the sentiment
- Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad
- Stamped the cat face, bow and sentiment
- Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies
- Largest oval used
- Layering Ovals Framelits Dies
- Scallop oval to mat the stitched oval
- A small scrap of retired ribbon used

ReplyDeleteThanks Lorraine, I was hoping SU would bring out a set that had cat faces and was really disappointed when they didn't bring one out in January, but when I saw the bunny set I had everything crossed it would fit ... and it did :-) I love all 3 faces - they really make the cat come alive. Just love it.
