Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator

I am a day late this week with my tutorial, this is because it is my turn to set the DT challenge over at Stampin' For All Facebook group. The theme is nature. I took this opportunity to use the Animal Outing again. This set is now growing on me! I didn't want to go with the natural colours instead I changed it up and took my colour palette from the Natures Poem DSP. I hope you like the result!

Stampin' For All DT Challenge Using Stampin' Up!® Animal Outing

Measurements and Materials

Whisper White A4 Thick Cardstock

Card base, cut in half and scored in half
Folded size 5 7/8" x 4 1/8"
Also used to stamp image and sentiment
When watercoloring cardstock needs to be a bit thicker so it does get saturated and bobble

Blackberry Bliss A4 Cardstock

Used for the card mat and the mating behind the 2 stitched circle toppers
Mat size 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Nature's Poem Designer Series Paper

Used as a mat for the background of the card
Mat size 5 3/8" x 3 5/8"

Animal Outing Clear-Mount Stamp Set

Used for the image and sentiment

Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker

Used this to water colour

In Color 2018–2020 Stampin' Write Markers

Used Grapefruit Grove to watercolour

Regals Stampin' Write Markers

Used Blackberry Bliss to watercolour

Subtles Stampin' Write Markers

Used Blushing Bride to water colour

Brights Stampin" Write Markers

Used Flirty Flamingo to water colour

Jet Black Stazon Ink Pad

To stamp image, needs to be permanent ink so it does not bleed when water colouring

To cut the image and sentiments out with

Largest scallop used to layer the image - cut out in Black Berry Bliss

1-1/2" Circle Punch

Used to cut a circle in Black Berry Bliss to mat sentiment

Silver Baker’S Twine

Wrapped around the DSP to add interest

Clear Wink of Stella

Used on nose and belly of kangaroo to add interest
