Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator
Thank you for joining me on this the first of July, really please where has the first half of the year gone?! As if that shock is not enough my friend asked me to make a 21st Birthday card for her daughter. OMG how is she 21?! Even bigger shock that means my youngest will be 21 next!
OK enough of that lets look at this card lol. Right so I have used the very lovely abstract Impressions to make this as she wanted something girly and also with 21 on the front. This is what I came up with and she was delighted.
Measurements and Materials
- I cut a card base using Cherry Cobbler - half a standard sheet cut in half and scored in half
- I cut 2 crd mats in Whisper White - 1/4" shorter and thinner
- I stamped the images using Cherry Cobbler, Grapefruit Grove, Smokey Slate and Call me c
- Clover
- I embossed the card front mat after I had finished stamping with the Softly Falling embossing folder.
- I used the numbers from Pick A Pennant and the circle from the Bubble Over stamp set and cut it out with the 3/4" circle punch.
- I stuck some Cherry Cobbler Double Stitched ribbon around the card
- I tied a bow with the ribbon and stuck it on top
- The front was then glued to front of card
- The other mar was then glued inside - I printed a message that my friend wanted on the inside

I love it Gez, I have ordered this stamp set and I am eager to know what can be done with the images. The second generation stamping is obviously a very important element to this stamp set. Though I love how you have added the extra design with the dry embossing too. :O)
ReplyDeleteThank you Lorraine - it is a lovely set with so many possibilities and lovely sentiments :-)
